The Oral and Poster Presentations will cover the following program topics:

  4. Post-translational Modifications of Peptides and Proteins
  5. Goodman Memorial Session
  6. Towards Peptides as Potential Therapeutics
  7. Peptides as Tools in Drug Discovery
  8. Peptide and Protein Design
  9. Peptide Quaternary Structures in Material Science and Disease
  10. Peptide and Protein Arrays
  11. Proteomics and Emerging Technologies

Original contributions in these and related topics are encouraged. Abstracts will only be accepted electronically and must be submitted through the link below or at www.conferencereview.com directly. Abstract receipt will be acknowledged by email. The Program Committee will select speakers for the Oral Presentations from the submitted abstracts. Acceptance Letters will go out April 1. Titles and authors will be posted on the web site shortly thereafter. The Program and Abstracts Book will be published in a special issue of Biopolymers: Peptide Science. This issue will be mailed to delegates prior to the meeting.


Abstract Preparation Instructions

Please read the instructions thoroughly before preparing your abstract. Abstracts not adhering to these instructions will not be reviewed and will not be included in the program. Please do not create "test" or duplicate submissions of your abstracts.

  • Files should be either Word or PDF format.

  • The size of your submission must be 3.5" in width and 4.5" in length, or less.

  • Font definition is Times New Roman, font size is 9 points.

  • Abstract Title should be all capitals.

  • Author names should appear below the title, in capital/lower case, each followed by a superscript number connecting the author to the appropriate affiliation. The corresponding author should be underlined.

  • Affiliations should appear below the author names, in capital/lower case, preceded by a superscript number relating to the appropriate author above.

  • When you are satisfied with your abstract (see Representative Sample at end of file), submit it.


Abstract Submission Instructions

  • Save it under your last name as a Microsoft Word file (.doc) or as an Adobe Acrobat File (.pdf).

  • If you have more than one abstract, number them with consecutive numbers (for example, smith1.doc and smith2.doc).

  • Select the topic that best describes the subject of your presentation.

  • Complete the contact information in the Abstract Submission Form. You will have to fill out a separate form for each abstract submitted.

  • If you wish to participate in the Young Investigators' Poster Competition, please select that option on the submission form.

  • If you would like your abstract considered for oral presentation at the Young Investigators' Mini-Symposium, please select that option. If a participant has applied for an oral presentation in the Mini-Symposium and is not selected, their presentation will automatically be included as a poster in the poster competition.
