Click here for more information regarding Professor Goodman and this award.

The Goodman Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated career-long research excellence in the field of peptide science. In addition, the selected individual should have been responsible for significant mentorship and training of students, post-doctoral fellows, and/or other co-workers. The Awards Committee may also take into account any important contributions to the peptide science community made by the candidate, for example through leadership in the American Peptide Society and/or its journals.

You may nominate an individual by submitting (1) a primary nomination letter (1,000 word limit), (2) a supporting letter from an established scholar (500 word limit), (3) a supporting letter from a student, post-doctoral fellow, or other co-worker (500 word limit), and (4) the nominee's curriculum vitae electronically to the APS Awards Committee Chair, Samuel H. Gellman, at Gellman@chem.wisc.edu prior to January 1, 2009.

The first presentation of this award will take place during the 21st APS Symposium to be held in Bloomington, Indiana in June 2009.
