Upcoming APS Council Elections
There will be an election in the spring of 2009 to select the next APS President Elect and Treasurer, along with 6 Council Members and 5 Nominating Committee Members. The current APS Nominating Committee will be developing a slate of candidates for these positions and is asking for your input. These positions are very important in the leadership of the Society and in determining our future direction. If you have suggestions for candidates for any of these positions, please email them to me before January 15, 2009. Please remember that your dues must be current for the 2009-2010 membership term in order to participate as a candidate or to exercise your voting rights. Thank you for your assistance in this important task.
Sincerely,
Deborah Heyl-Clegg
Chair, APS Nominating Committee
